Blanco sobre Blanco: Composición Suprematista

La pieza fue una intervención en la playa San Mateo de Valparaíso el día sábado 27 de Noviembre de 2010, donde un grupo de 18 niños del Colegio Mar Abierto ejecutó una partitura de 40 minutos escrita para ellos y para el Festival Tsonami de Arte Sonoro.
20 mesas colocadas a lo largo de la playa con 20 cajas de latón conteniendo bolitas de vidrio de distintas dimensiones y un masajeador de mano el cual, al ser encendido y colocado dentro de la caja, producía un pedal de ruido blanco producto del constante golpeteo del vidrio contra el metal.
La obra toma su título prestado de la pintura de Kazimir Malevich al intentar generar un nuevo plano de ruido blanco sumado al del mar, sin interferir con el entorno.

The piece was an intervention on San Mateo beach in Valparaiso, Chile, on November 27th, 2010, where a group of 18 children from the Mar Abierto School performed a 40 minute score written specifically for them and the Tsonami Sound Art Festival.
20 tables along the coast with 20 metal boxes with glass marbles of different sizes and a hand massager which, when turned on and put inside the box, produced a stream of white noise due to the constant rattle of the glass against the metal.
The work borrows its name from Kazimir Malevich's painting as it tries to create a new level of white noise as it puddles with the sea, without interfering with the environment.
